The upcoming Telugu romance Deewana is creating a buzz following a high-profile song launch in Hyderabad. Star actress Samantha officially released the soulful track "Idi Prema" on social media, lending her support to the young team. The celebration continued at Prasad Labs, where acclaimed directors Venky Atluri, Nandini Reddy, and Ravikiran Kola joined as chief guests to cheer on the new talent.

A New Chapter for Harshith Reddy

After a promising start with Subham, actor Harshith Reddy returns as the lead in Deewana, a film he believes will be a career-defining milestone. During the event, Harshith drew inspiration from cinema greats, noting that just as Tholi Prema defined a generation, he hopes Deewana will earn him similar recognition.

Introducing Sneha Manimegalai (as Ammu) to the Telugu screen, the film is directed by Srikanth Sangishetty, who described the project as a raw and honest portrayal of a middle-class boy's journey.

Musical Highlights and Creative Vision

  • Eshwar Chand: A protégé of the legendary A.R. Rahman’s music school, the composer makes his debut with this "feel-good" soundtrack.

  • Collective Effort: The director encouraged a unique collaborative environment, even involving the cast in writing dialogues and lyrics to maintain authenticity.

  • Summer Release: Produced by Vasudev Koppineni and Sridevi Karyampudi under Arha Media and V Studios, the film is eyeing a grand theatrical arrival this summer.

Industry Veterans Show Support

The guest directors were full of praise for the film's "honesty" and "sincerity." Nandini Reddy remarked that the teaser gave her goosebumps, comparing the director’s passion to that seen in cult hits like Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru. Venky Atluri and Ravikiran Kola also shared their optimism, noting that despite industry shifts, genuine "content-driven" films like Deewana will always bring audiences back to the theatres.
