"Mandaram" Revealed: Dimple Hayathi’s Fiery Period Look from Sharwanand’s ‘Bhogi’ Ignites Social Media

The anticipation for Sharwanand’s high-budget period spectacle, "Bhogi," has reached a new fever pitch. Directed by mass specialist Sampath Nandi and produced by KK Radhamohan under the Sri Sathya Sai Arts banner, the film is being mounted as a gritty Pan-India action saga. Adding to the film's growing intrigue, the makers have officially introduced Dimple Hayathi as the fierce and unapologetic Mandaram.

A Soul Misunderstood: The Mandaram Reveal

The newly released character poster introduces Dimple Hayathi in a striking, crimson-themed avatar that perfectly aligns with her character’s "highly flammable" personality.

  • The Aesthetic: Dressed in a vibrant red saree and seated with an intense gaze, Dimple holds a traditional palm-leaf fan. The background—complete with antique brass chests—meticulously recreates the 1960s Telangana rural setting.

  • The Character: Described as "a beauty the world desired, but a soul it never understood," Mandaram is positioned as a powerful, bold woman who stands defiant against the world’s expectations.

  • The Vibe: Her sharp expression and red-hot styling hint at a character that brings a unique "fire" to the volatile world of Bhogi.

A Massive 1960s World-Building

The film is currently being shot at a rapid pace on massive sets in Hyderabad that replicate a fictional 1960s border village between Telangana and Maharashtra.

  • High-Octane Action: Director Sampath Nandi is reportedly crafting a "visual bloodbath," featuring high-intensity action sequences that showcase a transformed, rugged Sharwanand.

  • The Lead Trio: While Dimple Hayathi portrays the fiery Mandaram, Anupama Parameswaran has already garnered praise for her look as a hardworking village belle. Together with Sharwanand’s intense physical transformation, the trio leads a narrative rooted in grit and survival.

Technical Might and Festive Release

Bhogi is backed by a powerhouse technical crew to ensure its pan-India appeal:

  • Music: The energetic Bheems Ceciroleo is composing the score.

  • Cinematography & Art: Visuals are captured by A. Kishor Kumar, with the period world designed by Kiran Kumar Manne.

  • The Big Date: Aiming for a massive global impact, Bhogi is set to hit theaters on August 28, 2026. The release is strategically timed for the Raksha Bandhan festive weekend and will debut in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
