In a major update that has sent fans into a frenzy, the makers have officially confirmed that the high-octane theatrical trailer will be launched on May 18th.

Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner, in collaboration with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, Peddi is gearing up for a monumental Pan-India release on June 4.

A Visual Trip to the 1960s

To accompany the trailer announcement, a stunning new poster has been released, further showcasing the film’s authentic 1960s rural backdrop.

  • The Look: Ram Charan is seen in a striking period avatar, walking along train tracks. The visual highlights the extraordinary attention to detail in production design and costumes.

  • The Transformation: The actor has undergone a significant physical and rugged transformation to portray a character that spans multiple timelines, showcasing a "dual look" that has already become a talking point.

  • The Plot: While the glimpses have teased the atmosphere, the May 18 trailer is expected to finally pull back the curtain on the central storyline and the intense sports-drama elements of the film.

Stellar Ensemble and Technical Might

The film's weight is bolstered by a powerhouse cast and an Oscar-winning technical crew:

  • The Cast: Peddi features a massive ensemble including Janhvi Kapoor, Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu Sharma, and Boman Irani.

  • The Music: Academy Award winner A.R. Rahman has composed the film’s soulful and energetic soundtrack.

  • The Visuals: Legendary cinematographer R. Rathnavelu captures the rustic 60s era, with production design by Avinash Kolla and sharp editing by Navin Nooli.

Overseas Storm and Pre-Sales

Even before its release, Peddi is rewriting records in international markets. International distributor Prathyangira Cinemas reports that pre-sales are surging at an unprecedented rate, with the film poised to set new benchmarks for Indian cinema abroad. Overseas premieres are scheduled for June 3, a day ahead of the domestic release.
