Nara Lokesh Claps the Board; Outlines Tollywood’s Vision in AP
The launch ceremony witnessed massive state support, with AP IT Minister Nara Lokesh sounding the ceremonial clapboard for the muhurtham shot, while Tourism Minister Kandula Durgesh switched on the camera. In a significant creative touch, Balakrishna’s daughter, Nandamuri Tejaswini (who handles creative execution for the talk show Unstoppable), stepped up to direct the very first ceremonial shot.
Speaking at the event, Minister Nara Lokesh emphasized the government's aggressive stance on building a robust entertainment ecosystem in the capital region:
"Under the leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, we are working with a solid vision to transform Amaravati into a major hub for the film industry and the creator economy. The government is fully committed to establishing world-class infrastructure, cutting-edge post-production studios, and finishing facilities to build a sustainable ecosystem here."
"A Two-Decade Wait for an AP Launch of This Scale" – Nandamuri Balakrishna
An emotional and energized Nandamuri Balakrishna noted the historic value of holding a major movie launch within Andhra Pradesh. "It has been nearly two decades since a mainstream film launch of this massive scale has taken place right here on Andhra soil," Balakrishna stated.
He reiterated his commitment to working closely with Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan to bring administrative incentives, amusement infrastructure, and tourism setups that draw big productions to locations like Vijayawada and Kakinada. He also revealed that a substantial shooting schedule of #NBK112 is planned to be lensed entirely across picturesque backdrops in Andhra Pradesh.
Director Koratala Siva, reflecting on his early days as an assistant writer for Balakrishna's films, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity. "Directing a powerhouse like Balakrishna Garu is a true blessing. As a fan myself, I completely understand the gargantuan expectations surrounding this combination. I have readied a subject that beautifully blends high-octane commercial elements with a deep-rooted emotional core," the filmmaker promised.
With industry stalwarts like Suresh Babu and Gopichand Malineni handing over the final script to the makers, #NBK112 has kicked off its journey as one of the most anticipated regional blockbusters currently in production.
