Divine Blockbuster ‘Hanuman Ansh’ Arrives in Telugu This October 9: Team Addresses Press Meet
Inspired by the life and spiritual teachings of the revered saint Neem Karoli Baba (lovingly revered as Maharaj-ji), the spiritual drama ‘Hanuman Ansh’ has emerged as one of the most remarkable box-office phenomenons of recent times. After registering a massive theatrical run across North India, the film is now set to grace screens across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Acclaimed production and distribution banner Hombale Films acquired the theatrical rights across South Indian languages and overseas territories. Leading Telugu production and distribution powerhouse Mythri Movie Makers is releasing the film across the Telugu states on October 9, 2026. Ahead of its release, the core unit convened for a press meet in Hyderabad.
Written and directed by Dr. Vishal Chaturvedi, the film stars Sobhinav Satya embodying Neem Karoli Baba, alongside Chandan Anand, Poornima Tiwari, and others in key roles.
"A Movie Belonging to the Indian People" — Hero Sobhinav Satya
Greeting the media with Jai Sitaram, lead actor Sobhinav Satya credited the film's success to sincere intent and divine grace:
"Dr. Vishal Chaturvedi crafted an essential film celebrating the core of Indian culture and spiritual legacy. Producer Ragini garu backed this project with utmost honesty, and we firmly believe Lord Hanuman's blessings propelled this film to touch millions of hearts. This isn't just our cinema; it became the nation's cinema as audiences promoted it like their own. We are confident Telugu moviegoers will embrace its emotional and spiritual purity with the same love."
Telugu States Radiate Immense Devotion — Director Vishal Chaturvedi
Director Vishal Chaturvedi expressed his gratitude for the strong demand from local audiences:
"Coming to Hyderabad is an honor. Telugu audiences specifically requested a localized theatrical release, and we are grateful that powerhouse banners like Hombale Films and Mythri Movie Makers stepped in. Wherever you travel across Telugu states, towering statues and temples of Lord Hanuman greet you—everyone here shares an innate devotion to Bajrangbali. We invite families to experience this journey on the big screen."
Producer Ragini echoed similar sentiments, appreciating Hombale Films for championing faith-rooted cinematic triumphs like Kantara and Mahavatar, noting that Hanuman Ansh leaves audiences with a lasting sense of peace and divine connection.
"A True Box-Office Miracle" — Mythri Movie Makers' Ravi Shankar
Mythri Movie Makers producer Y. Ravi Shankar marveled at the film’s unprecedented commercial trajectory:
"Everyone is aware of the massive storm this film created in the North. Sobhinav Satya's performance as Neem Karoli Baba is authentic and deeply moving. Made on a modest budget of around ₹2 crore, the film went on to generate a staggering ₹400 crore footprint nationwide. A content-driven divine film achieving this scale is extraordinary. We previously saw how films rooted in devotion—like Hanu-Man, Kantara, and Irumudi—were embraced with open arms here. We thank Hombale Films for partnering with us to bring this wholesome cinematic experience to Telugu families during the holidays."
Adding to this, Mythri’s Shashidhar Reddy noted:
"Audiences who followed the film's journey online have been eagerly waiting for the Telugu version. This is an uplifting watch crafted for every generation, delivering positive moral values that families can take home. We are mounting a grand release across the Telugu states this October 9."
