Well, the shooting of the film was going on in full swing until IT raids happened on the producers, Mythri Movie Makers, and director Sukumar. The raids went on for five days and news came out that funding up to 200 crores was done from the US.
Now that the financial issues have been deep, the news is that Mythri Movie Makers have fixed a deal with a popular production house in Mumbai and they have taken over the project and they will own a major stake in the film once is comes out.
Pushpa 2 is being made on a budget of over 300 crores and these raids have held back the makers. Now that the Bollywood production house has entered the scene, the shooting is like to start soon. The name of the Hindi production house has been kept a secret as of now.
