Meme-makers have a field day trolling 'Adipurush'

'Adipurush' has been trolled by sections of audiences on social media. As per the film's critics, the modern-day staging of the Ramayana is dead on arrival.

The depiction of the ten-headed demon, Ravana, has become the butt of ridicule. Instead of a horizontal placement of heads as depicted in the epic Ramayana, the film shows five heads in two rows.

Saif Ali Khan, as Ravana, is seen sporting a spiked hairstyle. In a scene, he is seen sleeping with snakes swarming around him. "He is looking more like Khilji than Ravana," a Twitter user wrote.

"Modern hair-cuts, tattoos, cheap animations and cringe dialogues. Adipurush is an All India TikTok association meeting," wrote another Twitter user.

In a scene, Prabhas comes across as Jesus Christ rather than Rama, many Netizens pointed out.

The makers managed to silence critics through the trailer by avoiding shots involving Saif's character. But once the film got released, the troll army is back to mock the film left, right and centre.
