'Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada' actress Nandita Swetha has always played performance-oriented roles. 'Hidimbha', her upcoming feature film release, is different, though. The soon-to-be-released mystery thriller has her in a sultry role.
On Tuesday, the makers unveiled a sensual song titled 'I Am The Bad Guy'. The 'Bluff Master' heroine charges up the song with her hot appearance alongside Ashwin Babu. The lyrics are all about desire and the song tries to captivate the viewer without turning in your face. The visuals also hint at a twist in the romance as the story advances.
Nandita, after a series of flops such as 'Akshara', 'Kapatadhaari' and 'Jetty', is now pinning her hopes on 'Hidimbha', which appears to hold a lot of box-office potential. Some of her films such as 'Prema Katha Chitram 2', 'Seven', 'Kalki', and 'IPC 376' remained unnoticed. There is a view that Nandita made the wrong career move by not focusing enough on Telugu cinema. The 2012 Tamil film 'Attakathi' remains one of her most popular outings.
As for 'Hidimbha', the film is directed by Aneel Kanneganti. AK Entertainments' Anil Sunkara is presenting it.
