'BRO' is set to hit the screens on July 28. The first song, 'My Dear Markandeya', is mediocre. Shot on Pawan Kalyan, Sai Dharam Tej and Urvashi Rautela, the Thaman composition has given rise to a bevy of memes on social media.
Going by the lyrical video, the dance choreography is bland. So, there is not much fun to be had from the dance of the two heroes, who are related to each other in real life. Director Samuthirakani's visualization is informed by the standards of Kollywood.
Thaman's composition would have been apt for a medium-range film, not a big-ticket outing. "Thaman is back to the days of 'Aagadu' and 'Winner'," a Twitter user ranted.
The fantasy comedy was not expected to feature massive chartbusters. But the two or three songs that are going to be there are expected to be at least decent enough. The first song, on the other hand, is not even half decent.
The other day, a song from Rajinikanth's 'Jailer' was trolled heavily. It was an Anirudh composition. The 'BRO' song is the second disaster of the week.
