Today, a new film starring Nithiin was announced by producer Dil Raju. The announcement has caused mild upset among Pawan Kalyan's fans. The reason? The film is titled 'Thammudu', which is an old movie starring Power Star.
Usually, the titles of blockbusters are precious. The fans of those heroes expect the titles to be used for the films of their favourite stars' kids in the future.
For example, a title like 'Gitanjali' would have suited a Naga Chaitanya movie. If and when 'Manmadhudu' has to be used, it will be used either for Chay or Akhil. When Nani's film 'Gang Leader' was announced, Ram Charan's fans were upset. 'Custody' was supposed to be titled 'Shiva' by director Venkat Prabhu to bank on the nostalgia factor.
Pawan Kalyan's fans are now upset that 'Thammudu' has been "snatched away" by Nithiin. "We would have loved to see Akira Nandan use that title after he becomes a hero. Already 'Tholi Prema' has gone to Varun Tej and 'Kushi' has gone to Vijay Deverakonda. By the time Akira makes a debut, he will be left with 'Agnyaathavaasi' or 'Katama Rayudu' perhaps," a fan quipped.
Akira, meanwhile, has not made his future plans public. As per Renu Desai, he has no plans to become a hero as of now.
