Nithiin has teamed up with 'MCA' and 'Vakeel Saab' director Venu Sriram. Dil Raju is going to produce this project on Sri Venkateswara Creations. 'Thammudu' is its title.
"Some titles come with a lot of responsibility attached. We will deliver beyond your expectations. My next with Sriram Venu and Dil Raju garu (sic)," wrote the 'Macherla Niyojakavargam' actor on Twitter. 'Thammudu' is the title of one of the biggest hits starring Power Star Pawan Kalyan.
"Bonding is thicker than blood, make way for a new brother in town. The stage is all set for the brother to take over," wrote the creators, announcing the project.
If the above tweets are anything to go by, 'Thammudu' is going to be laced with brother sentiment drama. The film will go on the floors on September 1. It might hit the screens in April or May next year.
Recently, there were rumours that Venu Sriram is doing 'ICON' (that was supposed to be done with Allu Arjun as the hero) with Nithiin. It has to be seen whether 'Thammudu' is the same as 'ICON', either partially or majorly.
