'Tiger Nageswara Rao', which is scheduled to hit the screens on October 20 in multiple languages, will probably show Ravi Teja's titular character as a vigilante with no moral compass. He knows how to loot, how to hold the system to ransom and how to play mind games.
The Mass Maharaja's character has been fashioned after Stuartpuram Nageswara Rao, who we are told transforms into Tiger Nageswara Rao after a terrible setback. Jisshu Sengupta plays the kind of cop we saw in 'Pushpa: The Rise'. In a way, he is to this film what Fahadh Faasil's character was to Allu Arjun's movie.
The film, directed by Vamsee, has been produced by Abhishek Agarwal on a budget of more than Rs 80 Cr. Hareesh Peredi, Nassar and Anupam Kher will be seen in masculine lines, while Renu Desai plays a social reformer. Will her character be used to normalize and sanitize the titular character?
Srikanth Vissa (dialogues) and GV Prakash Kumar (music director) have worked on this action thriller drama. In the coming days, 'TNR' will be promoted across Indian cities, starting with today's trailer launch campaign in Mumbai. Watch this space!
