Kajal Aggarwal's 'Satyabhama' is back in the news. Director Suman Chikkala has wrapped up a 35-day schedule of the action comedy. Screenplay writer Shashi Kiran Tikka of 'Major' fame is happy with the output so far. Bobby Tikka and Srinivasa Rao Takkalapalli are producing this movie under the banner of Aurum Arts.
"This is a crime thriller that has completed 90% of its shoot. Kajal Aggarwal has done high-octane action scenes under the aegis of fight master Subbu," the makers said.
Prakash Raj and Naveen Chandra will be seen in crucial roles. G Vishnu and Sri Charan Pakala of the recent 'Bubblegum' are doing the film's cinematography and music, respectively.
The film will see Kajal in the role of ACP Satyabhama. The buzz is that her character joins hands with the villains in order to fool them into doing her bid while appearing to be in cahoots with them. They get to know the secret but pretend to be ignorant of her ulterior motive. They start trying to defeat her at her own game but she has the last laugh in the end. The second half will be rich in a cat-and-mouse game.
