The makers of 'Miss Perfect', Disney Plus Hotstar's upcoming web Original set to stream from February 2, unveiled its trailer on Monday. Director Vishvak Khanderao was described as a meticulous helmer by the film's team.
Speaking on the occasion, female protagonist Lavanya Tripathi invoked the religious chant 'Jai Shri Ram', respecting the occasion of the Ram Mandir consecration in Ayodhya. "I was a Miss when this show started to be shot. I became a Mrs before it was completed (referring to her marriage to Varun Tej). 'Miss Perfect' is a whiff of fresh air. Producer Supriya Yarlagadda garu is a perfectionist. I have known her for many years. I deeply admire her. She is one of the most inspiring women out there. It was lovely working with her for the first time since 'Soggade Chinni Nayana'. I am a Hotstar loyalist and 'Miss Perfect' is a great addition to its catalog. Abijeet Duddala is a beautiful performer. He is really amazing. He is too humble, expressing surprise when his acting is lauded (laughs). Abhignya Vuthaluru is a fab artist. Only a fantastic actress could have pulled off that character," Lavanya said.
Actor Abijeet, known for the Bigg Boss Telugu trophy in 2020, began his speech by thanking producer Supriya. "I hope I have lived up to her expectations. Looking at the trailer, the performances are so colourful. Everyone has dominated me. Cinematographer Aditya Javvadi has made me look so good. I thank my costume designers and the entire team," he added.
Producer Supriya said, "We at Annapurna Studios have always loved to work with fresh talents. ANR garu used to wish to explore untapped talent. The same holds for Nagarjuna garu. Coming to 'Miss Perfect', I never had to be on the sets of the show. Everything was planned to the T and executed well by the Hotstar team. They were always swift.
