'105 Minutes' stars Hansika Motwani in the lead. The single-shot movie with just one character will be released in theatres on January 26. In his latest interview, producer Bommak Shiva says that the film is novel to the hilt. He talks about his background and what drove him to invest his money in the thriller.
"I was born and raised in Boduppal, Hyderabad. I have been into real estate and convention centers. I have a lot of passion for films. That's why I entered the industry to produce movies," says producer Shiva. "Director Raju Dussa travelled with me for a year. The novelty of the story (one character and single shot) made me want to make a debut with this subject," he adds. Admittedly, Hansika was not the first choice. "Her reaction to the story was positive. That made us pick her for the role," Shiva says.
"The concept of a single character, a woman at that, and a single-shot screenplay made us go for it. Normally, it takes 20 days to shoot, but this one took 45 days because of the extensive rehearsals involved. While the entire movie involves just a single character, another voice is heard. That voice is of a pan-Indian actor who is famous in Hindi as well," the producer reveals.
For now, this is a Telugu release. The film will be released in other languages in the next five months at the rate of one language per month.
Sam CS has composed the music.
