'RAM' is the title of an upcoming movie set to hit the screens on January 26. Standing for 'Rapid Action Mission', the film is based on true events. Deepika Entertainment and OSM Vision have produced this Mihiraam Vynateyaa directorial. Surya Ayyalasomayajula, Dhanya Balakrishna, Sai Kumar and others will be seen in pivotal roles.
The film's pre-release event was graced by a few prominent film industry personalities as guests. People Media Factory's Vivek Kuchibhotla described 'RAM' as a content-driven film whose makers finished the project despite challenges on the financial front. Producer Bekkem Venugopal described 'RAM' as an informative action thriller that has been made with honesty. He lauded Surya, Sai Kumar and Dhanya on the occasion.
Hero Surya said that he comes with no film background and that he has made 'RAM' in such a way that it becomes a head-turner. "My friends joined hands to fund this project. Recently, a small movie (referring to 'HanuMan') was released in competition with big movies (like 'Guntur Kaaram') and yet became the biggest blockbuster. If that was a devotional film, 'RAM' is a patriotic movie. Sixty people out of a hundred will like our movie," he said, adding that every dialogue is sharp in the movie.
Dialogue King Sai Kumar is elated to have acted in a film laced with patriotism. "Both hero Surya and director Mihiraam worked hard together as Krishnarjuna and made the film," he said, adding that the action episodes are going to stand out.
Director Mihiraam said that Rajkumar Master's action choreography is a major highlight. "It is a film about patriotism but not about the soldiers at the border. It is about the internal defence system's unsung heroes who foil terror conspiracies," he added.
Producer Deepikanjali said that the performances by Bhanu Chander, Sai Kumar, and Subhalekha Sudhakar will be loved by the audience. "We pledge to donate Rs. 5 to the National Defence Fund from every ticket of the movie sold," she added.
