TV actor Rituraj Singh passed away due to sudden cardiac arrest today. He was 59. The senior artist was reportedly being treated for a pancreatic illness, which raised the risk of cardiac arrest.
Soon after the news emerged, #CardiacArrest was found to be trending on Indian Twitter with Netizens trying to know about CPR. As per an expert, Rituraj Singh was probably suffering from an undiagnosed condition in the heart. "There are risk factors such as diabetes, high blood pressure, blood sugar levels, cholesterol, smoking, a stressful or sedentary lifestyle that contribute to making pancreatic illness affect the heart," a doctor told Indian Express.
Meanwhile, several Bollywood handles on social media have expressed their condolences. "Remembering the incredible talent and warmth of Rituraj Singh. His legacy will forever live on through the characters he brought to life on screen," wrote T-Series.
The actor was seen in TV and OTT shows like 'Banegi Apni Baat', 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', 'Anupama', 'Bandish Bandits', 'Made In Heaven', among others.
