'Atharva', starring Karthik Raju and Simran Choudhary in lead roles, started streaming on Amazon Prime on January 25. The makers today said that the thriller's performance has been stellar not only in Telugu but also in Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
"Our movie's OTT success is because it is not a regular crime thriller. No other film had discussed the role of the Clues Team in the investigation of crimes. Our film's sui generis point is working with the viewers," director Mahesh Reddy and producer Subhash Nuthalapati of Peggo Entertainments said today. A photographer, videographer, biometric analyst, and forensic scientist play critical roles in collecting clues, the film showcased.
The movie is trending in the Top 10. "We are looking to dub it in Hindi as well," the makers added.
The film's cinematography is by Charan Madhavaneni. It is edited by SB Uddhav. Ayraa, Arvind Krishna, Kabir Singh Duhan, and others played different roles in the movie. Its theatrical release was backed by Suresh Productions.
