Latest reports have revealed that the Indian Railways has decided to modernize and upgrade a total of 72 railway stations in Andhra Pradesh as part of its 'Amrut Bharat' initiative. The list begins with top cities like Vijayawada, Vizag, Kakinada, Rajahmundry, Tirupathi to the tier two towns like Eluru, Guntur and others.
Keeping a uniform approach, the Railways have selected railway stations across the four corners of the state and are going to give them a facelift. Sources reveal this is going to be a phase-wise operation but the execution will happen with a significant speed. This is indeed a gigantic gift.
