There is unanimity among most political leaders and among the public as well in Telugu states that TDP chief and ex CM Chandrababu Naidu is not a man of words. This has been proved time and again, without any doubt. This time it doesn't concern the people of Andhra, but rather his own team and his own yellow party.

During the recent grand mahanadu enthused by the massive crowd, Chandrababu went into an exuberant mood and made a new promise. He said that come what may, he will give 33 percent tickets the next time to only youth and again he made a promise in the name of NTR that 40 percent of TDP assembly elections tickets would be given exclusively to youngsters.

This really boosted the spirits of many young leaders. TDP has come to a stage where the senior leaders are no longer coming to the people and listening to the cadre's problems and issues. They are confined to their homes and whenever Babu gives them an earful they come out, make some noise and hibernate.

If the party is able to create some buzz in strongholds, the credit goes to many youngsters who are taking the burden of keeping the party alive and ensuring that party level programs and agitations are done properly. However, there are already feelers being reportedly sent to different assembly segments regarding who might get a ticket the next time.

If the information is collated on a large scale, again it is only seniors who are being given priority. This has caused a lot of heartburn among young aspirants who feel that they shoulder the burden while the fruits are enjoyed by old leaders. They are pointing out that Babu is not the one who can keep up promises he makes and point out that by the time elections approach, Babu will tell them to work hard and give out a similar assurance that 'next time' most tickets will be given to youngsters.
