The state of Andhra Pradesh has a very interesting situation. If one looks at the vote bank percentage, the Kapu community stands high as their population is the largest. Also, there are many senior Kapu politicians and even some of the most wealthy and influential people in the state belong to the Kapu community. Despite all these plusses, they could never get a Kapu CM.
So, it is heard that the biggies of this community took an oath that they would ensure the CM for 2024 elections would be a Kapu person. In that process, they saw a ray of hope in the Jana Sena party and Pawan Kalyan. However, much to their disappointment and anger, Pawan seems to be rubbing their raw nerve. For starters, Pawan's stand to form an alliance with TDP is not going well with the Kapu heads.
It is heard that they are quite miffed with this idea as they know that even if the alliance wins, TDP is going to take the entire benefits and leave Jana Sena in disarray. Grapevine also says that recently few Kapu leaders had a secret meeting and they expressed clearly that Pawan is taking all the wrong steps when there is a golden chance for Jana Sena to really score big in the election and form their own government.
There are also reports that the Kapu biggies are going to gather once again and do some brainstorming as to how they should proceed in the upcoming election. There are also chances that they might give their piece of mind to Jana Sena and Pawan Kalyan on this matter. Since Jana Sena-TDP alliance looks inevitable there are good chances that the Kapus might put pressure on Pawan to bargain for at least half the ministries with Chandrababu Naidu. Of course, this is subject to the situation that the alliance indeed wins over a strong ruling Jagan.
