Since the last few months, a flood of development works and projects is happening in Andhra Pradesh and this has picked up momentum after CM Y S Jagan has announced that Vizag would be the working capital. True to that, a lot of investment and projects are now getting concentrated in this city and here is yet another update which is exciting many.
According to latest reports, the steel city is all set to get three mega tourism projects which is going to change the face of this place. Sources say that US based NRIs have gotten into a collaboration with foreign companies and together, they would develop a tunnel aquarium, a sky tower and a giant wheel which could be named as 'Eye On Vizag' just like the 'London Eye' based in London.
Sources also reveal that the tunnel aquarium is going to be developed by the Turkey based company named Polin Aquariums and this project would be executed with a budget of Rs 250 crores. Coming to the sky tower, it is heard that this would be developed by Intamin, a Switzerland based company and the investment for this is said to be Rs 100 crores. Finally, the 'Eye On Vizag' giant wheel project would be developed by a company named Pax Russia and the expected investment is said to be around Rs 243 crores.
It is also heard that all these three projects are being planned at Mangamaripeta beach front which is about twenty kilometers away from the center of Vizag. If this be true then it would mean that this spot will become the weekend getaway for the Vizagites as well as those in the surrounding areas. Soon, it would also become the tourist spot not just for the people of Andhra Pradesh but also for others. This is certainly a big boost for the tourism sector in the state of AP.
