The yellow media has been trying to create a lot of buzz and excitement around Nara Lokesh, the son of Andhra Pradesh's former Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu. Despite being referred to as "Pappu" by some, they are projecting as if Lokesh is making a great impact in Telugu politics for his recent padayatra, or political rally on foot.
Prominent leaders in the district of Anantapur have taken notice of Chandrababu's efforts and have been trying their best to give some hype despite the fact even the TDP cadre is not much excited about it. There was a lot of tension in the TDP camp that JC Brothers would speak frankly and pull down Lokesh for his lackluster yathra.
Giving much relief, JC Prabhakar Reddy predicted that Lokesh will be a great leader in the future, much like his grandfather NTR. JC praised the Chandrababu couple for their sacrifices and for sending Lokesh on the padayatra, which is seen as a path of light for the future of Andhra Pradesh. Clearly, these were seen as orchestrated comments.
JC also added that Lokesh's journey is seen as a super success and a sign of good things to come for the Telugu Desam Party. All said and done, it is a great relief for Chandrababu because any comments otherwise would have triggered a public insult for Lokesh and yellow media too seems to be happy about such artificial statements.
