Ambati Tirupati Rayudu, a renowned cricketer who recently announced his plans to enter Andhra Pradesh politics, hinted at the possibility of joining the ruling YSR Congress party led by Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. In a tweet on Wednesday evening, Rayudu praised Jagan Mohan Reddy for his bold speech at Naupada in Srikakulam, where he laid the foundation stone for the Mulapadu sea port. Rayudu stated that he is interested in fighting the Andhra elections from his native place Guntur, despite being brought up in Hyderabad.

Initially, there were speculations that Rayudu might join the Jana Sena Party led by Pawan Kalyan, as he hails from the Kapu community. However, it was rumored that he may also enter Andhra politics on behalf of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) led by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, due to his close connections with BRS leaders, especially KCR's nephew and State Finance Minister T Harish Rao.

Additionally, Rayudu has connections with BRS Andhra Pradesh unit president Thota Chandrasekhar, who is also a Kapu leader and has acquaintances with Rayudu's family.

Despite making critical comments against the Jagan Mohan Reddy government recently, Rayudu's tweet praising the Chief Minister suggests that he may join the YSR Congress party to make his electoral debut. Rayudu believes that it's time for educated youngsters to join politics to make a difference.
