Anantapur police arrested former Minister Kalva Srinivasulu today. The former challenged MLA Kapu Ramachandra Reddy to come and discuss about Rayadurgam development. Ramachandra Reddy accepted the challenge and released a video saying he is ready to discuss about it. He further called Kalva Srinivasulu as "Muriki Kalva” (a dirty drain) and challenged him further to discuss who is capable of what. Post this a high tension seen was witnessed in the area. Fearing mob fight, the police there started doing rounds in the N Hanumapuram area of Anantapur district.
To avoid any untoward incident, they have arrested K Srinivasulu on Thursday. After the arrest the TDP workers fought with the police seeking justice.
