During a public meeting in Anantapur district, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy compared his rival, Telugu Desam Party President N Chandrababu Naidu, to an ageing tiger in Panchatantra fables.
Jagan narrated the story of a tiger that was too old to hunt and started luring people into its grasp with a golden bangle. The tiger would pounce on those who came close to accept the bangle, devouring them.
Jagan stated that Naidu was like the old tiger in the story, trying to convince people that he had changed completely. He warned people not to be misled by Naidu's political dramas and gimmicks. Jagan also referred to Naidu's recent TV interview, saying that the former chief minister was only spreading lies to cheat people once again. He warned people not to be fooled by Naidu's empty promises and lies.
