YSRCP leaders, including Kadapa MP Y S Avinash Reddy, have been accusing Narreddy Sunitha Reddy and her husband Rajasekhar Reddy of being involved in the murder of her father and ex-MP Y S Vivekanda Reddy. However, YSR Telangana party president Y S Sharmila has strongly refuted these allegations and defended Sunitha and her husband, saying they had no role in Viveka's murder.
Sharmila dismissed the property dispute claims made by Avinash Reddy and his father Bhaskar Reddy, pointing out that Viveka had transferred all his properties and money to Sunitha several years ago. She also criticized the Sakshi media house for carrying false stories against Sunitha, Rajasekhar Reddy, and Viveka, calling it character assassination against a departed leader.
Sharmila indirectly suggested that if Narreddy Rajasekhar Reddy was really after properties, he would have killed Sunitha instead of Viveka, as the properties and money were in her name.
However, Sharmila's support for Sunitha has resulted in a big disappointment for YSRCP groups. As a result, the social media accounts of YSRCP groups have started targeting Sharmila as well. All these years, they have been soft on her for being the sister of YS Jagan. When she is going against the stand of their leader, which they believe in, they are not sparing even her.
