YSRCP Chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy reached Visakhapatnam today along with Gautam Adani to lay foundation stone to Adani Data Centre in Visakhapatnam. The CM described the groundbreaking for the construction of a 300 MW data centre in Visakhapatnam as a historic moment. According to him, this initiative will be essential to Visakhapatnam's growth. As part of the construction of the data centre, a submarine cable will be constructed from Singapore. According to him, there would be a considerable increase in internet usage, connectivity, and speed.
According to CM Jagan, these types of contemporary amenities will assist Visakhapatnam in developing into a metropolis and provide work for 39,000 people. 21.800 crores of rupees will be invested in Visakhapatnam. This data centre is being constructed on 190 acres of land and uses electricity that can be obtained from natural sources. The establishment of an IT centre park, skill development centre, recreation centre, and data centre park is also planned. According to Jagan, this will quickly enhance IT-related activities in Vizag.
