Attack on Jagan: Blind Compulsion

The attack on Jagan is a blind compulsion. The other day Union Home Minister, Amit Shah considered the right-hand man of PM Modi, launched a blistering attack on AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy and the ruling YSRCP addressing a public meeting in Visakhapatnam. This came right after BJP National President JP. Nadda criticized Jagan Mohan Reddy at his meeting in Tirupathi.

Both JP. Nadda and Amit Shah attacked Jagan Mohan Reddy and branded him extremely corrupt and accused him of diverting the Central Government funds and also changing the names of the developmental schemes of the Union Government and promoting them as his own schemes.

But all the right-thinking people feel that both JP. Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah's attacks are blinded by political compulsions. For four years, they enjoyed the unconditional support of AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy and his YSRCP at the center and passed crucial bills like the abrogation of Article 370 in Kashmir.

Just ahead of the 2024 elections, BJP changed the track to attack Jagan Mohan Reddy. Had Jagan Mohan Reddy been so corrupt, Union government headed by PM Modi could have unleashed the CBI and other law enforcing authorities and put him behind bars by taking proper action. They would have stopped releasing of funds by asking the government to show accounts for the funds used.

As they did not do, it is very clear that PM Modi and the Union Government is satisfied with the CM Jagan and the development schemes undertaken by YSRCP and so released the funds. The blind compulsion to fight the elections and send signals to the people that they are fighting against the ruling party is forcing BJP to indulge in such activities.
