Historic: Jagan starts Vidya Kanuka on the day of schools reopening

The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan had been primarily focused on enhancing the education system in Andhra Pradesh. The Nadu Nedu implementation completely changed the face of the government schools in the state as the infrastructure, and teaching apparatus were greatly enhanced to suit modern day needs.

Today, Jagan has kicked off the historic Vidya Kanuka scheme, as a part of which his government is handing out school kit bags to over 43 lakh students in Andhra Pradesh who are going to government schools and aided schools.

The government is spending in upwards of Rs 1042 crores on these kit bags. The more captivating thing here is that these kits are being handed out to the students on the very day of the reopening and the commented of the new academic year.

These kits will have a pair of shoes, 3 pairs of uniform, belt, and other accessories. The scheme was flagged off by the CM himself today.

In the previous governments tenure, the implementation of academic schemes weren't carried out in a timely manner. There was a delay of several months in the distribution of academic apparatus to government school kids. But in a historic move now, Jagan has started the Vidya Kanuka scheme on the very day of schools reopening. This shows his commitment towards the uplifting of academic infrastructure in AP.
