NITI Aayog names YSR district

CM Jagan is on a mission to place the state of Andhra Pradesh on the world map and ahead of it, he is doing it successfully with Central Government recognizing Andhra Pradesh on various fronts. According to the latest, Niti Aayog which ranks places on various criteria, today named YSR district in the top five districts in the country.

NITI Aayog sharing the details posted '"Prospering Districts, Prospering Country! 🇮🇳Here are the top 5️⃣ most improved #AspirationalDistricts as per #NITIAayog's Delta Ranking for May 2023. Congratulations to our #ChampionsOfChange" NITI Aayog ranked the districts and named them in its report named "Prospering Districts, Prospering Country,"

NITI Aayog described the YSR District as one of the five most improved Aspirational Districts in the country. Soreng in Sikkim and Hailakandi in Assam are at No. 1 and No. 2 while YSR district came third in as a champion of change in NITI Ayog's Delta Ranking report.

The YSR District has got the ranking because it has ensured effective convergence between Central government and State government schemes, besides pulling off effective collaboration between Central, State-level Nodal Officers and District Collectors. The aspirational district's program was launched in 2018 and The program aims to "quickly and effectively transform 112 most under-developed districts across the country."
