Former AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu who is on the irrigation projects tour in the state visiting Penna to Vamsadhara Projects, speaking to the people in Kurnool said he and his government initiated the irrigation projects and accused CM Jagan of stalling them completely.

He said " During my regime, the government didn't Uber Rs 12000crs while the current dispensation spent only Rs 2000 crs for Rayalaseema projects". In Nandikotkur, Chandra Babu accused Jagan of claiming credit for projects without water.

CBN added " initiated crucial irrigation projects like Telugu Ganga, Handri Neeva, Muchumarri, and SRBC in Rayalaseema. But Jagan halted projects like Raghavendra, Siddhapuram, Gundrevula, Vedavati, Velugodu, and Banakacherla. During my regime the total irrigation expenditure had been 68,000 crore, while YSRC government had spent only 22,000 crore on irrigation"

He said " Jagan is a "sticker" Chief Minister, and he passes time taking credit for projects and initiatives of the previous government." Chandrababu Naidu said " My government had sanctioned 110 crore to supply drinking water to Nandikotkur through On Alaganur Reservoir but YSRCP shelved the project hampering it's progress during it's four and a half year’s tenure"
