It is known that YSR used to serve people and treat them free of cost after becoming a doctor. After seeing the woes and troubles of the poor from close quarters, he went on help all sections of the poor as the CM of Andhra Pradesh.
Now, CM Jagan is also doing the same. implemented many developmental programs and welfare schemes for the poorest of the poorer and the weaker sections in Andhra Pradesh. It is known that today Jagan went to Visakhapatnam to launch various projects. While Jagan reached to lay the foundation stone for the Inorbit Mall, 19-year-old Gavidi Dilliswara Rao who was suffering from an orthopedic problem waited with his mother Santoshi.
CM Jagan came to know about him, at once interacted with him, and consoled him. He directed Collector A.Mallikarjuna to ensure that Dilliswara Rao gets treatment for his disease and also handed over a cheque of Rs 1 lakh for the medical expenses. Similarly, Jagan consoled 17-year-old Mohan who was suffering from chronic illness. He told him that he fell down from the fourth floor and had treatment for his broken spinal cord under the Arogyasri scheme. When he told him that he is yet to recover and requires financial aid, Jagan directed the collector to ensure that he gets physiotherapy treatment. and handed over Rs 1 lakh for medical expenses.
