Jagan stressing about 'recommendations' for 2024 polls

The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has started to prepare the ground for the coming elections in Andhra Pradesh. He is making substantial progress on the same.

Now, it is understood from well placed sources that the chief minister is getting stressed by his party troops and leaderships as he has started to receive recommendations for the MLA and MP tickets internally.

The likes of Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, Vijaya Sai Reddy, YV Subba Reddy, and Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy have been designated with the responsibility of picking the candidates and conveying their reports to Jagan. The YCP chief will then assess these reports and prepare the final list. But the recommendations and lobbying for the tickets has hit the peak already, say reports.

It has gotten to a point when Jagan is having to temporarily put his candidates selection process on hold. He intends to announce the list of first 80 candidates for the election and then take it from there. All the lobbying is unwarranted pressure for him with nearly 9 months to go for the election.

With YCP being the winning horse that is the favorite to sweep the polls again, the lobbying is understandable, we must say. It is up to Jagan to handle this wisely.
