It is known that the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy recently flew to London on a personal trip and here is an interesting update on the same.
Reportedly, the chief minister made it a point to spend money from his own pocket for the London trip. He didn't spend a single rupee from the state exchequer for this trip. He has spent every single dime from his own pocket.
Jagan had been particularly vigilant about not spending government money on his personal trips. He did the same with his Israel trip recently and also the other trips to London and USA. This is a conscious effort from Jagan to make sure that his personal expenses don't stress that of the state finances.
This busts the narrative of Nara Lokesh and other TDP leaders who have been repeatedly claiming that the chief minister has spent Rs 12 crores public money on this trip.
The chief minister also makes it a point that he doesn't take any money as salary from the state finances. He has not given the opposition parties a chance to target him over the London trip.
