It is already established that TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu was arrested by AP CID in connection with the AP Skill Development scam. He is currently at the AP CID office and is expected to be presented in front of district magistrate by 6AM on 10 September.
Incidentally, in another major political development now, JanaSena chief Pawan Kalyan has also been arrested by AP police in the Jaggayyapeta area of Andhra Pradesh.
Pawan was on his way to JanaSena head office in Mangalagiri, where he was stopped by the police and was taken into custody. This is seen as a threat to law and order in the area and that is promoted to be the reason behind Pawan's arrest.
Pawan has been stating that he is trying to go to his head office in Mangalagiri but the police are obstructing him. The fact that this coincides with CBN's arrest has led to rumors that Pawan is trying to meet with CBN and extend his support and that is the reason why he came to AP in a hurried manner.
