Telugu Desam Party has been dealt with a major shock as the party chief and the then chief minister of the state, Chandrababu Naidu has been arrested and kept on remand over the AP Skill Development scam.
Incidentally, the onus has now fallen on Chandrababu's son Nara Lokesh to lead the party and its troops from the front in the absence of his father.
All the while, Naidu used to run the backend and front end operations of the party. He was taking care of the party activities and even supporting Lokesh's Yuvagalam yatra. There was no need for Lokesh to move from the front and lead his troops.
But now that Chandrababu has been sent to jail in a scam, Lokesh will have to take up the responsibility and assess the situation and act accordingly. This could all be too much to handle for him all of a sudden in the sudden absence of his father.
This is literally a make it or break it situation for Lokesh. If he can lead the part effectively, then he will project himself as a leader and if he fails, then things could south horribly and he could get exposed in a bad manner.
