After TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu was sent on remand in the skill development scam, the cadre and party leaders looked at Nara Lokesh as their main hope.
However, Nara Lokesh did something unexpected and untoward and took off to Delhi. He was nowhere to be seen in Andhra Pradesh while his father Chandrababu was in jail and his family members Brahmani and Bhuvaneshwari were in Rajahmundry.
This has apparently led to a serious consequence as the TDP cadre has reportedly lost their trust in Nara Lokesh. When they wanted him the most after the arrest of Chandrababu, he was nowhere to be seen and safely stayed in Delhi for 2 weeks.
A leader is supposed to stay by the party in the toughest of times and Lokesh had a moment to become a hero when his father was sent to jail in the skill case. But he has wasted this golden opportunity by taking the safe route and fly off to Delhi.
This has now resulted in a serious damage to Lokesh's image. He might no longer considered as a troubleshooter for the party, let alone being an able leader for TDP in the future. This is a fatal mistake.
