TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu is too excited about the so-called success of the Khammam meeting and already the backing media has projected as if TDP is going to gain power in Telangana soon. Babu also appealed to the leaders who left TDP to come back to the party fold again.
Naturally TRS has upped the ante once again against Chandrababu and one TRS minister claimed that to project this meeting as a success, TDP had to mobilize crowds from border districts of AP near Khammam. Even by other standards, such crowds naturally raised curiosity from the beginning.
Whatever it is, Babu seems to be no longer an entity in Telangana and the drubbing Congress received in 2018 elections due to alliance with TDP is an indication of the same. However, with election heat starting in Telangana, Babu doesn’t seem to resist the temptation to test political waters.
