Three and half years in power, there’s both good and not so good about it for any ruling party in India. The not so good thing is that power gets into the head of few leaders and they encourage groupism in certain segments.
No matter how hard Jagan is working to keep his party in power in Andhra Pradesh, there are few leaders who are unable to reach grassroots workers as well as people, in a way alienating YSRCP cadre as well as people. In few districts, this has reached a new level and some leaders are openly hobnobbing with Jana Sena fans and followers.
This is a dangerous trend that may spell doom later. Although Jagan is being very stubborn about such people, he has to up the ante and weed out fence sitters before they do any further damage to the party.
