Minister Gummadi Sandhyarani Escapes Unhurt in Convoy Accident

Andhra Pradesh Minister for Women and Child Welfare, Gummadi Sandhyarani, narrowly avoided injury in a road accident that occurred in Vizianagaram district on September 12. The incident involved a collision between a police vehicle in her convoy and another vehicle coming from the opposite direction.

Five Policemen Injured

Five policemen seated in the police escort vehicle sustained injuries. The injured personnel are Armed Reserve Inspector KV Raman, Head Constable P Sunil, Constables R Ganapathy, CM Mahesh, and police vehicle driver Constable AVVSN Raju. They are currently receiving medical treatment at Tirumala Medicover Hospital in Vizianagaram.

Accident Details

The accident took place in Busayavalasa village of Ramabhadrapuram mandal. According to police reports, a vehicle entered the main road out of blue and collided with the police vehicle escorting the minister.

Minister Remains Unharmed

The minister's vehicle was following the police escort vehicle, allowing her driver to apply the brakes in time and avoid injury.

Minister Assists in Rescue Efforts

Following the accident, the Minister remained at the scene to oversee the rescue operation.
