Amit Shah's TS tour canceled. The much talked about and much publicized tour of Union Home Minister Amit Shah to Telangana stands canceled. This poured cold water on the dreams of the state BJP which is of the opinion that Amit Shah's meeting at Khammam will invigorate and rejuvenate the sagging fortunes and the morale of the party leaders and cadre.
Now, BJP which had been making arrangements for a grand public meeting at Khammam district, Telangana decided to stop all the arrangements. Amit Shah was planning to address a huge rally at Khammam on Thursday apart from meeting star director Rajamouli and ABN Andhrajyothy MD Radhakrishna.
Party senior leader Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy speaking to scribes said that Amit Shah's meeting was canceled due to Cyclone cyclone Biparjoy which is all set to hit the coast of Gujarat. The cyclone is expected to wreak havoc and create severe damage in the coming days. Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar shared that a fresh date for Amit Shah's Telangana tour will be announced at a later date.
Cyclone Biprajoy is set to cause severe damage in the states of three states of Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Rajasthan.PM Modi already deployed NDRF teams and Amit Shah, the Home Minister will be personally monitoring the situation.
