For long rumors have been on that many are disgruntled in the BJP and the disgruntled leaders are hampering the party's prospects ahead of the coming elections in 2024. Rumors are on that Eatala Rajender and Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy have been unhappy and they will be quitting the party and joining the Congress or TRS. They started staying away from party activities for quite some time.
Following this, BJP high command summoned Eatela Rajender and Komatireddy Rajagopal to Delhi. The duo will be meeting Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP National President JP.Nadda. This meeting assumes significance as Congress has been spreading rumors that both of them will join their party. Reports also came that both want change in leadership of the party in Telangana.
Under these circumstances, Bandi Sanjay., T-BJP chief's commented that no one will join the Congress party as it is a sinking ship. He also said that no one will join Congress where the contestants will not get deposits and which is not having any candidates to field in the elections. Inside talk is Eatela is angry that the BJP did not fulfill its promise after he joined the party. The party promised to make him the party election campaign chief.
Rajagopal Reddy is eyeing the LB.Nagar seat and with Congress sitting MLA Sudheer Reddy joining BRS, he feels he will get the seat unopposed if he joins the Congress. It has to be seen how BJP will resolve the issues.
