Why President is visiting Hyderabad on July 4. President Droupadi Murmu will be visiting Hyderabad on July 4. It is coming out that Murmu will be participating in the 125th birth anniversary celebrations of freedom fighter Alluri Seetharamaraju. Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari in the wake of the scheduled visit of President Murmu on July 4, has presided over a high-level coordination meeting and reviewed the arrangements to be made.
She directed the officials to make elaborate arrangements in close coordination with all the line departments. Those who attended the meeting included DGP Anjani Kumar, Special Chief Secretaries Sunil Sharma, Arvind Kumar, Principal Secretary Home Jitender, DG Fire Services Nagi Reddy, Hyderabad CP Stephen Ravindra, Secretary GAD Sheshadri, Secretary R&B Srinivas Raju, GHMC Commissioner Lokesh Kumar, and other senior officials were present at the meeting.
She directed the officials that there should be an uninterrupted power supply during the President's visit and also a medical team on standby to deal with any kind of emergencies. President Murmu recently visited Hyderabad and as the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, reviewed the combined graduation parade at the airforce academy in Dindigul. Murmu at that time praised the services and bravery of the armed forces.
