BRS is all set to campaign in the upcoming Karnataka elections with Minister Harish Rao leading the team. Actor Prakash Raj is also going to be a star campaigner for the party. JDS is BRS's ally in Karnataka and the party will contest all the seats under the leadership of former Chief Minister Kumaraswamy.

Given that Telugu-speaking people are mostly in Karnataka-Telangana border districts such as Bidar, Gulbarga, Raichur, and Yadgir, BRS is gearing up to campaign in these districts with around 30 ministers, MLAs, and MPs under Harish's leadership. Actor Prakash Raj, who is fluent in Kannada and actively follows Kannada politics, is expected to play a key role in the campaign.

The campaign route map has already been given to JDS and sources say that the first phase of campaigning will begin in the third week of this month. With only 20 days left until polling day on May 10, the party needs to campaign in more than two constituencies per day, prompting KCR to order the campaign to start as soon as possible.

Initially, BRS had planned to field candidates as part of the alliances, but backed out for various reasons. Therefore, KCR has reportedly decided to cooperate in all ways possible for the victory of JDS candidates. It remains to be seen what kind of result KCR's flash help at the last minute will fetch for BRS in national politics.
