Recently, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy was in the news for criticising BRS chief KCR, eventually leading to his expulsion from the party. The politician has a good grip on the Khammam constituency, and we hear he is in talks with the Congress party for a ticket from Khammam.
Slamming Srinivas' moves and comments against KCR, Rajya Sabha Member Vaddiraju Ravichandra warned that the BRS will not allow him to continue his conspiracies in Khammam district.
While speaking at the party’s Athmeeya Sammelanam at Chennur of Kallur mandal in the district on Wednesday, the MP said that BRS is confident of winning 10 out of 10 seats in Khammam district. He stressed that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has implemented many welfare programmes in the district for the welfare of the people.
"After KCR garu took charge as the CM of Telangana, the state and the farmers have benefitted the most. Not a single drought situation was reported after he took charge. Telangana is progressing in all sectors, including agriculture," he said.
He took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying, "While Telangana's villages bagged 13 of the total 46 national awards, Gujarat, being the Prime Minister’s home state, failed to receive at least one single award."
