Three other IAS officers have been transferred to the Telangana state government. Orders regarding the posting of new IAS officers were issued today.
On Friday, the government announced that IAS Koram Ashok Reddy is assigned to the Information Department, Gopi to the CCPL, and Ashish Sangwan is the CCPLA special officer.
Interestingly, late Tuesday night, the AP government made a significant scale-up of transfers of important officials. Seven IPS officials and 70 DSPs have transfer orders from the state administration. Transferred personnel were ordered by DGP KV Rajendranath Reddy to report right away to their new postings.
In February 2023 itself, the Telangana state government transferred 15 IAS officers.
The transfers ahead of elections are raising curiosity among political circles.
