N V Subhash, an official spokesperson for the BJP in Telangana state, attacked the BRS administration, alleging that it failed to protect the general public from harm during the recent rains that claimed the lives of two young children in the city.
A six-year-old boy died in Jubilee Hills as a result of severe rains in the city, he claimed, while a girl named Maunika slipped into a manhole in Kalasiguda. He questioned whether this was a "Telangana model" that was taking the lives of innocent children.
The people are being duped by Chief Minister KCR. Since the majority of its leaders have lived in Hyderabad, which has more than 400 years of history, for decades, the ruling BRS party sought to impose what it called the "Telangana model" in other states.
Subhash claimed that numerous deaths from wall collapses, falls into manholes, and stray dog occurrences were caused by the KCR government's incompetence.
Subhash claimed that the KCR government completely failed to save the lives of children when stray dogs attacked them on the roads, and it displayed crocodile tears to appease the irate parents. Subhash demanded the resignation of Municipal Minister K T Rama Rao, taking moral responsibility for the inept handling of the situation, including the stray dog incidents reported in the city.
Subhash claimed that despite receiving more than Rs 3000 crore in property taxes from residents of Hyderabad City alone, the BRS government does not provide facilities to make the drainage system operational.
