Telangana state Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, who was the chief guest at the C20 Samaj Shala programme organised as part of the G20 Summit at Gachibowli, expressed her anguish at Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and his party for not inviting her to the opening ceremony of the Telangana State Secretariat.
"Some people just talk but don't work," she exclaimed. Despite being the first citizen of the state, Tamilisai was not invited to the Telangana Secretariat. She satirically said, "She can meet any head of state, but she cannot meet the Telangana state chief."
She lashed out at his family, too. She said, "The development of a single family is not called "development", the entire state should develop. We are all for the people, and we want to work towards that."
On the other hand, she praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for effectively handling the COVID situation in the country. Under the leadership of Modi, India is becoming the number one economic power, she said
