Former MLA Kuna Srisailam Goud has alleged that a land scam worth Rs 2,000 crore has come to light in the Nizampet Municipal Corporation area in Quthbullapur. He along with the local BJP leaders inspected the encroached government lands in Nizampet and Bachupally areas on Monday. After the inspection, former MLA said that the government lands in about 10 to 12 survey numbers are encroached under the guise of GO numbers 58 and 59.
It is alleged that there are about 1,000 open plots for which false documents and fake current bills and panchayat tax were created for 58 and 59 GO applications. This is a big scam in the state and he alleged the involvement of the local MLA, MLC, and the Mayor's husband in this.
They demanded that the government investigate the land grabbing here and take action against those responsible. Nizampet BJP president Akula Satish and local BJP leaders participated in the programme.
